COMMENTS: This fragrance is absolutely beautiful. Out of the bottle its this gorgeous, perfumey (in a good way!) sweet scent with small hints of citrus. When I first poured it into my soap batter, I got nervous because the smell changed dramatically to citrus only. The other notes I loved were nowhere to be found. However, as soon as I cut the bars I noticed that the scent morphed back to what I smelled out of the bottle. I really get the notes of vanilla, floral, heliotrope, woods, and amber. There are hints of the lemon and orange- but they are not the dominant notes which makes me happy. I really love this. Im going to buy again and use it in a body butter. It does discolor to brown, as pictured. I did not notice maroon discoloration like another reviewer said???

COMMENTS: This fragrance surprised me. I always pass up on vanillas because I think they can be boring. I had a few requests for vanilla types though and this one is SO refreshing. That citrus "kick" from the verbena really makes this fragrance.

COMMENTS: I got this in a bubble bath kit I purchased. I would have never tried it otherwise so am very glad i purchased the kit that allowed me to step out of my fragrance comfort zone. It smells wonderful. You can smell the underlying sharp verbena but it is softened by the vanilla top notes. Smells creamy and delicious but tart and herbal at the same time. Lovely.

COMMENTS: This is one of my popular scents in cold-process soap. When people pick it up, they usually exclaim, "Mmmm!" If you like stronger, perfumey scents, this is one, though not too overwhelming. It definitely is a complex vanilla scent and not too fake-y vanilla. I bought this thinking it would smell fresher/herbier with the verbena and citrus, but those don't really come through in my opinion. So while it's not what I expected, it still is a great scent.

COMMENTS: I got this FO as a sample but I think I will continue to order this one! I've been looking for a vanilla scent that wasn't JUST vanilla and this does the job. I used it in a whipped body butter first and now I think I'll have to make the coordinating whipped sugar scrub. It's vanilla but it's also so much more than that. Taking this one into work to get everyone's opinion and I think they're going to love it!

COMMENTS: I opened the lid of the FO and took a big whiff. Bad idea! But since it was a requested fragrance, I went ahead and somewhat grudgingly made a small batch of soap. It was like night and day! I don't even like vanilla or verbena, but this is a surprisingly refreshing, soft, and comfortable fragrance!

COMMENTS: Another review said they couldn't smell the lemon, and I'm thinking, what lemon? This is vanilla, not lemon. Then I looked at the ingredients, and lemon was one of them, so then I'm thinking, I never smelled the lemon either! Having said that, it is a very nice vanilla smell. Actually it was my first FO that I bought. Will I buy it again? possibly, but I will try a different one first.
