COMMENTS: I add this to most batches of CP soap. It is absolutely undetectable to the eye in whatever design I swirl. It is also nice to have on hand for colloidal oat with calendula and chamomile baths to help soothe poison ivy skin; someone around here often gets it in the summers!

COMMENTS: This Colloidal Oatmeal has been one of the best additives for my melt-and-pour soap soothing skin care line products. It blends in well and has no scent. I've gotten lots of feedback from my eczema-suffering clients who have given it a big thumbs-up review. I sell this at the local fairs and farmers market and it is always a requested favorite. I'm pleased with the way it behaves, leaving no clumps, melting in nicely with my recipe, and no ricing. I highly recommend it.

COMMENTS: I use this in almost every product in my sensitive skin line, I also use it for my pet paw salve. It helps to soothe irritated skin and helps to protect sensitive skin from becoming irritated. I’ve found Crafters Choice collidal oatmeal to be smooth, consistent and of high-quality. I would prefer if it was packaged in an opaque jar to protect it from light: however, since it is not when it arrives I transfer it to a light proof container for shelf storage.

COMMENTS: Oats are wonderful for so many things, so I made it a mission to acquire some, everyone was sold out or on back order then I came to WsS+ to find it and was happy. I was even happier when I finally used it in my soaps, bath bombs, body scrubs...its great, it adds a very soft grain to the product, so it gently, and I do mean gently exfoliates while bringing moisture to the skin and adds a creamy feel to my cp soaps, in my bath bombs it breaks down and kind of rushes out into the water in little specs that make it divine.... I love this stuff.

COMMENTS: I added this to a lotion bar I made and it helps it become less greasy. However as a caution, when heated it gets a disgusting burnt smell (even though it isn't burnt) and it can't be covered up with a fragrance oil. It all takes on a bad smell. Used in the proper context though, like face masks or I also use it in a foot soak it is good.

I have issues with many powders as they seem to stay thick and hard to incorporate, but this oatmeal powder does not give me that issue. COMMENTS: I mixed this in some aloe vera juice for a lotion and it mixed very well. I did not have an issue with it clumping. This does give off a color depending how much you use. My finished lotion was like a light grey color. I ended up adding some mica for color. I used 2tbsp in an 8oz bath of lotion. Perhaps I used too much but I followed a recipe I had. Will definately buy this again to add to some other products.

COMMENTS: I purchased the Colloidal Oatmeal to add to my MP & CP coaps. I started using regular oats, but read up on the difference between colloidal oatmeal and regular oatmeal. I like the consistency of the colloidal oatmeal as it is very fine and dispurses well in both MP & CP with a quick stick blend. Please note the oatmeal will not dispurse with a whisk or spoon.

COMMENTS: It makes adding oatmeal to a soap so easy!! Its a fine powder so if you want the benefits of oatmeal without the exfoliating action this is perfect. I use it in a goat's milk soap, geared toward sensitive skin. It really makes up an excellent soap. Customers love it. It doesn't clump up when you mix it into the oils either. Blends easily. COMMENTS: I was using ground oatmeal in most of my soap recipes because I love the moisturizing properties of oatmeal. But I noticed they all felt a little scratchy or exfoliating. I recently read about Colloidal Oatmeal and how it adds moisturizing properties without the scratchy feeling. Now I add it all of my soap recipes. Great addition to my soaps.

COMMENTS: I use the colloidal oatmeal in all batches of soap except a few specialty ones. It mixes very well with olive oil and usually also mix in the goats milk powder. Its very fine and customers don't obviously know its there like when I had previously used larger oatmeal which could be seen and some didn't like it. This product gives the soap good texture, smells very good and stores well.

COMMENTS: I used this with the shower gel to make a wash like Aveeno. Just added and mixed with the shower gel. Much cheaper and superior to Aveeno!! Love it!!

COMMENTS: I use this in a specialty lotion for skin conditions such as eczema. I read a review on this and the customer said it worked well with her babys eczema...and I agree! I use it on my son twice a day...once in the morning and once at night. It really seems to supress his outbreaks.

COMMENTS: I love oatmeal in my soaps but I don't like it to be scratchy. This oatmeal is the best I have found that gives me the benefit of the oatmeal and, yet, keeps my soaps silky smooth. You cannot get oatmeal this fine by grinding it yourself.

COMMENTS: This is a very nice colloidal oatmeal - was my frist time using it. I used it in hot process soap and used it with a oatmeal and honey fragrance that i purchase from here too. I will buy more next time!

COMMENTS: Can you tell I LOVE this stuff? I put it in everything...soaps, salts, scrubs. It gives this lovely, soft exfoliant property to soaps, both MP and CP and feels great on the skin. Paired with the Oatmeal, Milk and Honey fragrance it is one of my best sellers. Customers love it.

COMMENTS: Yes, you can grind your own at home ( and I often do), but this is a great product. My little grandbaby has excema and I put this in heat seal tea bags for my daughter to use in his bath. I also use this in lotion,soothes and thickens... why buy "Aveeno" when you can make your own??

"great for eczema" |

COMMENTS: This is a great ingredient for eczema! My baby has eczema and no matter what I tried, I could not get his belly under his diaper to completely clear up. Other than nap time and bedtime, he never stayed in a wet diaper more than a few minutes. I made everything we used on him, but I still could not clear up his rash were the diaper seam rubbed on his belly until I added this to his lotion. His skin is completely clear now. Just added it to your water phase and make sure to incorporate it completely before you add the oils. Use it as 1% of your lotion recipe for eczema.
