Recommended Use Level:
Add color to base, drop-by-drop. Use amount as desired. Adding more drops will produce a darker color.
Soap: You have used too much color if your soap bubbles are not white. Adding this color to white soap will produce a pastel colored bar of soap.
Lotions: You have used too much color if your lotion is not white when rubbed into the skin.

COMMENTS: I've never had a problem using this colorant..until today. I've used it in HP many times (I've ordered this probably 4 times already), it's always come out a beautiful oceany blue (as it should).
Today, my batch turned PURPLE (before I added FO). There were red splotches on the side of my crock pot, which I thought was odd, but I kept going and added some blue powder mica to try to counteract the reddish hue.
So now my Cool Water for Men batch is purple, not thrilled.

COMMENTS: Loved this color. I used this in a bath bomb with the CC Coconut Milk Powder and it was oh so lovely. The water was a light, shallow ocean water color but with the added coconut milk it was this slightly opaque, milky ocean blue color. So lovely. I used a pretty good amount to achieve this color I wanted. Ahh that was a nice bath bomb. I have also added this in other bath bombs in combination with other liquid stained glass colors that came in the sample set. This left no ring, residue, or stain on my skin in the tub. The color was evenly distributed and drained right out with the water leaving the tub spotless.

COMMENTS: Great to use to "paint or color" parts of soap. Very beautiful vibrant color. I just wish they didn't bleed. But it's still a nice color and works great if you do single color soaps. I'm going to try a small amount of CP with this color and see if it turns out. I hope it does because it'll work nice with my Minion Cold Process soap I'm working on.

COMMENTS: Choose this as my free gift, in the sample size. I used 10 drops for 4 cups of the Basic Lotion Base for making hand & body lotion (which is a white base). Was nervous about how dark it appeared in the sample container. BUT, with just 4 drops, it made the most BEAUTIFUL sky blue/light blue colored lotion! It mixed in VERY easily! Tested the colored lotion before putting in bottles to see if the color appeared on my skin. Using 10 cups of lotion to 4 drops of color, result on my skin is a clear lotion. This color is a MUST for my next project! Thank you so very much for the free sample! I would have never chosen it because of the dark appearance at first sight. ^_^ One very happy lotion maker!!!

This is a really vibrant blue that looks awesome in any product, and is very versatile. 1-2 drops per pound in soap will give you a baby blue, or go to about 10 drops per pound for a very bright but rich blue color. Has worked perfectly in MP soaps, lotions, and for adding some color to bath salts, especially in "beachy" or "ocean" scented products.
