COMMENTS: With the price of olive oil so astronomically high lately I decided to switch over to rice bran oil. I was not aware of this oil's existence until another soaper put me on to it and I will be a faithful user of this from hence forth and forever, lol. I love the quality of this oil and its properties. I have made body butters and CP soap with it and had no complaints. I love the affordability of this oil, healing properties and health benefits to skin. I ordered the 16oz bottles the last time but I just place my second order got the larger quantity. I tried this product and will not look back and I recommend everyone try it and see for themselves.

My husband said he has noticed an improvement with his skin texture. His skin is not so flaky and dry. I used a few drops mixed in to my facial cream and it feels very silky and not sticky or heavy. It absorbed into my skin very fast.

COMMENTS: I substituted this oil for half the olive oil in my regular recipe. My soap sets up in the mold more quickly and I like what it does for the soap.
Changing the rice bran oil and olive oil ratios gives me more control in how quickly my soap reaches trace.

COMMENTS: I've never liked olive oil in my soaps that much. So I sometimes substitute this oil for all of the olive oil in a recipe. Or I do a 50/50 olive oil & rice bran oil. You get very similar properties as you would in olive oil without getting that green color. This is one oil that I use in most of my CP soaps. The quality of the oil is great & the price is great as well. Will continue to use.

COMMENTS: I am so surprised that more people don't use this oil. It is wonderful! I use it in lotion and sugar scrubs....both leave your skin very soft but not greasy. I want to add it to my face line, but have read that it can potentially clog pores, so I am hesitant. But as for body lotion and scrubs...I will use this all of the time! :)

COMMENTS: Rice bran oil is one of my favorite ingredients to use (especially when making my vegan friendly products)
It has many of the same quality skin benefits of many other "name appeal" oils, but without the "luxury oil" price tag. I will always be fond of RB oil, it was one of the few oils I could afford to buy in large quantities at the beginning of my soap making addiction!
So for any soaping newbies - don't let the humble name of "rice bran oil" make you think it wont be as magnificent as many other oils - If you are first starting out, I recommend this oil, because you wont cry yourself to sleep after the loss of an "Uh oh...." batch of soap - but on the same note, you will LOVE the feel this oil brings to your "successful" batches of soaps! <3

COMMENTS: I like to use this oil for my nightly facial massage. It's perfect when combined with lanolin because it gives a lasting slip and doesn't sink in right away (it does get absorbed eventually). It's nice in lip balms as well. A very good moisturizer overall. It does have a faint scent, but it's not bad and it's not overpowering. If you don't mind the smell of brown rice it won't bother you at all.

COMMENTS: So far, I have just been using this at 100% on my face. I have learned that a little goes a long way, and a lot feels very greasy for awhile. It is difficult to regulate the amount coming out, though, because it just has a pour top. Also, not sure if this is comodogenic, because I have been breaking out a bit since starting to use it, which is fairly unusual. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with with this oil and some of the others is the packaging. It's just weird to receive a new product and have the bottle only filled halfway or whatever. Obviously this doesn't affect the product any, but it affects the perception.

We went to a system that is more consistent because now most of our products are filled by weight so that you know exactly how much you are receiving since most recipes are calculated by weight. Oils vary in weight, so 1 lb. will not be the same volume from oil to oil. |

COMMENTS: I use this in just about everything I make. Even though the oil color is golden amber, my soap base turns out white, which is nice, for coloring options. It's highly moisturizing and unlike some other typical superfatting oils, it can be used in greater quantity. I've used it up to 30% with great results. In my body butters, I combine with avocado oil for amazing results. Love this.

COMMENTS: First I rubbed something on the ends of my hair and it started to curl up and stayed that way after brushing. My hair is curly when it is humid outside but with dry, cold weather it's straight.
