This silicone tray mold is wonderful for MP, CP, HP, and CPOP soap projects. Pour twelve bars at once to save time! It also has grooves to ease in cutting straight bars once the soap has hardened.
Material: Food Grade Silicone
Maximum Product Pour Temp: 500ºF
Tray Measures: 10" x 10.5" x 1.25"
Top of bar is perfectly straight without rounded corners. Mold walls are built with extra thickness to prevent bowing.

Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap into silicone mold cavities. Allow soap to cool at room temperature until hard. Carefully remove soap from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the soap, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap and carefully pull out of the mold.
Cold Process Soap: Pour soap at trace into the mold cavities. After at least 24 hours, gently pull silicone mold to loosen its grip on the soap. Flip mold over onto a clean surface and gently push on the bottom of mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap with a gloved hand, and allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Cold Process/Oven Process Soap: Pour soap at trace into the mold cavities. Preheat oven to 170ºF then place mold in oven. Turn oven off, and keep soap in oven overnight. The next day remove mold from oven. Carefully remove soap from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the soap, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap and carefully pull out of the mold. Allow soap to cure for 2 to 4 weeks.
Hot Process Soap: Scoop hot process soap into mold cavities. Gently tap the mold onto the counter to remove air pockets. Allow soap to cool and harden. (This can take up to 48 hours.) Carefully remove soap from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the soap, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap and carefully pull out of the mold.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold cavities. Allow mixture to solidify. Carefully remove lotion bars from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the lotion bars, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the lotion bars starts to release. Grab hold of lotion bar and carefully pull out of mold.
Care:
Hand wash in warm sudsy water.

COMMENTS: I was hesitant to buy this mold due to the large size and the increase in the number of oils I had to use. I am glad that I went ahead and purchased this mold because it ended up working perfectly for cold process soap. The mold leaves a straight line on the bar which makes cutting so much easier. Prior to this, I could not cut straight bars of soap. Plus you can still make intricate designs in your bars of soap. I completely love this mold.

COMMENTS: I purchased these molds because the ones I had been using were no longer available. To be honest, I delayed trying these because I wasn't sure they were going to work for me. When I finally gave in, I was sorry I had not used them earlier. I was able to easily move the molds after pouring. I just let them set up a bit first. Unmolding was so easy! I have been using them for several months now, and they are holding up well. I am very pleased.

COMMENTS: Really like this mold. Releases well and no staining. It is easiest to invert on a cutting board to unmold and just let the weight pull the soap out. The scores are nice and really help cutting. I got just the tiniest bit of bowing on the sides but not a big problem. But, speaking as a hobbyist, I would prefer if it were about 1/2 the size. This mold is big, but that's no fault of the mold. One just needs understand this will hold 5 lbs of batter. The silicone is sturdy, but with that weight, it does need bottom support.

COMMENTS: This is my new "Go-to" mold when I make CP soaps (I like my loaf mold for HP). The sides don't warp at all with the soap in there and it comes out clean. The scoring makes it easy to cut, then I just clean up the sides with a planer.
The only downside of the scoring is that they are a bit more prominent than I would like (maybe 1/16").... I have to be mindful of that if I am trying to do a swirl throughout the entire bar that my chopstick will catch slightly. I think the scores could be a bit more shallow and still function as intended while reducing catch while swirling.

COMMENTS: I've had my eye on a slab mold for some time now. Finally ordered this and wondered what took me so long! It supports itself well and is well-made, but to tap down for any bubbles, I would suggest making some sort of wooden frame. Only because my recipe filled the mold up to the tippy top and when I tapped down, there was a little bit of spillage. Best feature is the ability to cut where the markings are on the bottom. All my bars were the same size---fool proof!

COMMENTS: I recalculated my soap recipe to fit this mold and it works so well for my needs. I have two so I can do two batches in one day. The grooves mark a perfect sized bar, the soap comes out cleanly, and a quick clean up! I still use petroleum jelly to coat it to prevent sticking, but honestly have never tried it without. Love it!

COMMENTS: GET THIS MOLD! I used this for MP at first - love the fact that it has little score lines so I know where to cut the soap. No bowing what so ever ...and I've used this mold over and over again. Held up well in CP soap but I did Need to add Sodium Lactate to make the soap easier to release...it was not hardening when I used it without the sodium lactate. The bars are a great hefty size...love this mold!

COMMENTS: Love this mold so much I had to buy a second after I wore off the coating on my old hand-me-down mold! I use a CP recipe that is a little slower to harden up so I stick the mold in the freezer for an hour or two prior to unmolding and get beautiful results. The grid makes it super easy to cut straight, even bars. Just make sure to set it on top of a sturdy piece of cardboard before filling, it is not rigid enough to move with raw soap in it! I find that 40oz of base oils yield bars that are ~4.25oz when fully cured and does not fill the mold to the top (no worries about overflow!).

COMMENTS: This has held up well for us and makes cutting easy, I make 2-3 batches of hot process soap a week in each mold and have had them for over a year with no issues.

COMMENTS: When the soap sticks in the center, set oven for 200F and then shut off once it reaches temp, then set mold w soap in overnight. Soap should dry out enough to unmold by morning. Been there but it doesnt always stick with different soap recipes. Also, to change bar size, just change the recipe size 12 bars x 4 oz size each, for example, use 48 oz of oil soap recipe. If it weren't a pricey mold as most silicone molds are, I'd own many more of these.

COMMENTS: I'll be honest, I am terrible at cutting my soaps evenly but this mold has saved my sanity! The score marks are wonderful to cut along, and I haven't had any issues with unmolding.

"Excellent slab mold" |

COMMENTS: I usually use individual silicone molds but was looking for a mold that would make my bars come out about the same. I ended up loving it! Not only can I pour 12 similar bars at once, they have the cutting lines imprinted in them for fool-proof cutting! This mold can also be used for some of the fancier designs as well. I've done M&P, CP. & CPOP on this mold, its great!

"Wonderful mold" |

COMMENTS: Great mold, easy to use, the cutting marks are clear and deep. The bar is beautiful.
We were looking for a mold that makes 5 oz bars, and this would make 6 oz bars if filled all the way.
It is a great mold so maybe worth changing to 6 oz ;)

COMMENTS: I really love this silicone mold! It is so easy to use: pour soap in, let firm up, pop out of mold, cut on the score/indent marks and your done!
I am thinking of getting another one so I can have more drying at one time.
